He stood on the ledge, a slight breeze playing with his hair, his heart racing. There was no guardrail, but the height wasn't what had his pulse up. The events of tomorrow would change the world forever. He fingered the remote as he gazed down over the bright lights of Capital City; that shining, wicked place.
"Easy, my friend." The masked man at his side put a warning hand on his shoulder. "Tomorrow will be soon enough to re-mold the world in our image."
They turned around and hopped back into the black SUV; racing off into the night.
