smoosh and blur lines of distinction
on my back a handprint brand
fountains green over my forehead
drips and dribbles, makes me blind
here and there a flooding orange
i go swimming in my mind
drenched in blue and black and yellow
roll the paper carpet out
and I'll leave footprints smeared behind me

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactSmooth and flowing! Full-view is a must to fully appreciate the complex fluidity of the artwork. Swirl upon swirl of turbulence presenting the illusion of an object passing thru a viscuous liquid. Cool and sublime in its' simplicity yet yeilding to a subtle complexity of form on closer inspection.
The eye is drawn to the simulated movement of the flame even though the mind realises it is a static piece. Simply an excellent example of fractal artwork at its' purist.
I find nothing to critique in the negative on this piece. I find it well balanced in both plan, execution, and use of negative space. And rendered with a perfect gradient as a compliment to the form.
