I always enjoy when deviants outside the fractal community bring me DD suggestions, and todays suggester admits, "I honestly have no experience whatsoever with fractals, but when I found...Stranger...I was impressed. I love the symmetry and how it feels like some kind of alien technology." ~findzha has a fun new gallery and a great instinct for fractal art.

Our suggester finds that Mandel potpourri by ~pm-ark is "straight out of an arcade game hall. This psychedelic Mandelbulb draws us into a warped dimension of buttons and spotlights, inviting the viewer to join in 'the game'... oh wait, I've lost." I like the citrusy colors and the feeling of being inside the pinball machine, myself.

It's International Women's Day, and there's no better way to celebrate it than to Bailar! Classic gnarl shapes writhe between unusual colors and intricate textures. Whether you can physically dance or must do so through your art, you can follow the shining example of `Sophquest. She has used her lovely artwork and influence in the community to give voice to the awareness of lupus, as well as having raised a family, owned a business, and taught herself fractal art. She's the epitome of why we celebrate IWD, so check out her gallery and celebrate her, too!

"Flowers and gems may be common, but Mollari has been blended so well, and manufactured in such an expert style, that it can really be called the work of a fractal goldsmith! Rubies shine on golden suns and the frame plays a great part in the work: it's like reinterpreting Klimt's expertise in a beautiful digital way." I'm a huge sucker for both fractal jewels and fractal flowers; I could not pass by *alien-dreams' exquisite work when it was suggested to me. Luckily the suggester had such a great description, because all I could do was drool!

Our suggester states, "It reminds me of stacks of coffee cups and plates at a futuristic restaurant just waiting to be filled to the brim with steaming hot drinks. The colors are gorgeous and the lines are perfect within that dimension used in his fractal."

Incredibly beautiful, nicely framed, and epic in scope, Mei Hua is as infused with hope as plum blossoms. I love the symbolism in the shapes and coloring; that spring is here and winter is fading into the background. *MaRoC68 intended this as a birthday gift for a friend, but it truly was a gift of hope for us all.

Millason Valley by DsyneGrafix

Millason Valley looks like a very dangerous place to fly your steamship! Expertly structured and ruffled by =DsyneGrafix, he also shows a terrific mastery of color in Mandelbulber, something many artists either don't bother with or haven't learned yet. I'm especially enamored of the sunrise in the background! It's this kind of attention to detail that earned this artist my interest and respect.

Subtle background textures begin it, gradient and shading progression draw your eye, perfect fractal shaping and composition give it bones, stark black detail stand out against the color and brilliant tiny white star-like details breathe the magic of life into it.
